as a Black woman owned business our founder naiomi sapphire believes that all women are to be honored + uplifted. she was first introduced to waist beads in high school through an internship at a design house. it was there that she experienced how a simple, intimate adornment could boost confidence + celebrate a part of the body that is often hidden + shamed by society. she has been creating and wearing them for nearly eight years.
